  • Chair Hays called the meeting to order at 6:19 pm in the Milton High School Library.
  • Chair Hays began the meeting by presenting the history of the FY 2015 budget process.
  • At 6:46 pm the Warrant Committee took a recess, and was called back to order at 7:00pm.
  • On a motion made by Member Turner and seconded by Member Cahill the Warrant Committee voted to approve the FY 2015 Revenue number, exclusive of water and sewer, at $87,896,800.00. 11/0/0
  • Chair Hays asked the following Department Heads to come forward to discuss their individual budgets and notified them of their current FY 2015 total budget amounts:

  • On a motion made by Member Turner and seconded by Member Cahill the Warrant Committee voted the FY 2015 Operational Budget, exclusive of water and sewer, at $86,619,049.00. 11/0/0
  • The Warrant Committee declined approval of a motion made by Member Turner and seconded by Member Sorgi to move the remaining $126,000 of FY 2015 operational monies to the Reserve Fund for FY 2015. 1/10/0



  • A motion was made by Member Genega and seconded by Member McCurdy to vote approval of the FY 2015 One Time money requests for the departments that do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Board of Selectmen. Those departments are the Schools ($500,000), Library ($25,000), Parks and Recreations ($3,675), Cemetery ($11,700), Board of Health ($0), and Assessors ($135,433). There was a brief recess from 8:38 pm – 9:02 pm; the vote was approved after the recess. 10/1/0
  • On a motion made by Member Genega and seconded by Member McCurdy the Warrant Committee voted unanimously to adjourn at 9:04 pm. 11/0/0
