- Chair Wilson called the meeting to order at 7:36 pm in the Carol Blute Conference Room.
- Chair Wilson recognized Joe Lynch, Director of DPW to discuss the FY 2014 Department of Public Works Budget.
- Chair Wilson also requested that Mr. Lynch discuss the Central Avenue roadway article that was put forth for the Annual Town Meeting.
- Chair Wilson thanked Mr. Lynch for discussing and answering questions regarding the multiple DPW budgets and the Central Avenue Article with the Warrant Committee.
- Chair Wilson recognized Therese Desmond, Cemetery Superintendent and Bob Mason, Chair of the Cemetery Trustees to discuss the FY 2014 Cemetery Budget.
- Chair Wilson also requested that Ms. Desmond and Mr. Mason discuss the Deer Run Land Article that has been put forth for the Annual Town Meeting.
Chair Wilson thanked Ms. Desmond and Mr. Mason for their presentation of the Cemetery FY 2014 budget and the Deer Run Land Article for the Annual Town Meeting.
- On a motion made by Member Genega and seconded by Member Hays the Warrant Committee voted to approve the meeting minutes of December 12, 2012. 7/0/3
- On a motion made by Member Turner and seconded by Member Hays the Warrant Committee voted to approve the meeting minutes of January 7, 2013. 9/0/1
- On a motion made by Member Turner and seconded by Member Genega the Warrant Committee voted to approve the meeting minutes of January 9, 2013. 8/0/2
- Member Cahill gave a brief overview of the Fire Departments FY 2014 budget to the committee. The Fire Department budget will be presented in full at the January 30th meeting.
- Member Hallisey also provided a summary of the FY 2014 Library budget. The Library will also be presenting the FY 2014 budget on January 30th meeting.
- Member Hays gave a brief overview of the Town Clerk and the Treasurer’s FY 2014 budget to the committee. Both the Town Clerk & Treasurer budgets will be presented in full at the January 30th meeting.
- The next meeting of the Warrant Committee will be on Wednesday January 30, 2013.
- On a motion made by Member Genega and seconded by Member Cahill the Warrant Committee unanimously voted to adjourn at 10:40 pm.
