Fourteenth meeting
Present: J. Wilson, G. Noonan, D. Turner, F. Kelly, T. Hays, C. Cahill, N. Bourque, S. Genega, K. Sorgi, R. Boehler,
Absent: K. Chase, C. Tougias, J. Nkwah, R. Hallisey, J. Creedon
Reserve Fund: $405, 928.65
- Chair Wilson called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm in the Carol Blute Conference Room.
- Chair Wilson recognized Annemarie Fagan, Interim Town Administrator who gave an overview of the steps that it takes to create a budget for the Town of Milton.
- Chair Wilson thanked Ms. Fagan for her detailed explanation of creating a budget for the Town of Milton.
- On a motion made by Member Turner and seconded by Member Genega the Warrant Committee approved the FY 2014 Warrant Committee budget in the amount of $10,053. 10/0/0
- Chair Wilson explained to the committee that she had emailed what FY 2014 budgets had been approved by the Board of Selectmen.
- Chair Wilson asked that each subcommittee Chair start the process of reviewing the FY 2014 budgets that they are responsible for and to begin scheduling time to meet with the subcommittee and department heads to discuss the FY 2014 budget. All meetings should be posted 48 hours in advance through Tricia Cahill.
- On a motion made by Member Tougias and seconded by Member Hays the meeting minutes from November 7, 2012 were approved. 6/0/4
- The next meeting of the Warrant Committee will be on Monday December 5th, but watch your email in case of cancellation.
- On a motion made by Member Turner and seconded by Member Tougias the Warrant Committee unanimously voted to adjourn at 9:01 pm.
