Sixteenth Meeting

Absent: J Folcarelli, L Dee, E Innes, J O’Connor, J Conley, B McLaughlin
Reserve Fund Balance: $ 174,111
School Set Aside: $ 92,500

The Chair called the meeting to order at 7:40 PM.
On a motion made by Secretary Hurley and seconded by Member Martin, the minutes of 1/7/08 were approved 7-0-1.
Public Safety Subcommittee Chair Steve Keel presented the Police, Fire, and MEMA FY 2009 budgets and questions
raised by the Subcommittee on each. The Warrant Committee raised further suggestions and Chair Keel will present
these questions to each department head. Because Member Pinkus would recuse herself from consideration of the Inspectional
Services budget, review of that budget was deferred to a future meeting at which a quorum for its consideration will be present.
The DPW Subcommittee will meet at on Monday, January 14th at 7 PM.
Chair Conlon gave a brief update on the Carol Blute Scholarship.
A motion to adjourn was made by Secretary Hurley and seconded by Member Martin with unanimous agreement by the committee
at 9 PM.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, 1/14 at 7:30 PM.
