Warrant committee January 30, 2008
Twentieth Meeting

Mark Williams, Director of MEMA, met with the Committee to discuss his FY09 budget.
Member Pinkus discussed questions that will be sent to the various Board and Commissions resulting from her subcommittee meeting.
Member Martin discussed questions that will be sent to the Cemetery Trustees resulting from her subcommittee meeting.
Member Pinkus recused herself before the Inspectional Services Budget was discussed. Member Keel discussed the Inspectional Services budget and Mr. Prondak’s responses to the Committee’s questions. Member Pinkus then returned.
The Chair reported that Milton’s assessment for the Blue Hill Regional School has increased 19.4%.
The Committee received a Reserve Fund transfer in the amount of $4,104 for Selectmen’s E&R. Member Walker moved to approve the request, which was seconded by Member Keel. Member Conley moved to table the matter pending receipt of invoices supporting the request, at which time Member Walker withdrew the motion.
The all day budget meeting of the Warrant Committee will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008.
Secretary Hurley made a motion to adjourn which was seconded by Member Dee. The meeting adjourned at 9:05 PM. The next meeting will be on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 7:30 PM.
