und recommendation to $994,336, which motion was seconded by Secretary Hurley with the Committee voting 9-0-0 in favor. The non-contingent budget is now out of balance. The general consensus of the Committee was to send a letter to the other member towns asking that they reject the budget in order to request that the school reconsider and amend the budget. Members emphasized that this action is intended to foster a constructive dialogue with the school. The Chair will draft a letter and call Mr. Joyce to notify him of the Committee’s decision.
