WARRANT COMMITTEE MINUTES January 8, 2007
TENTH MEETING

ABSENT: T. McGrath, J. O’Connor, Jr.
RESERVE FUND: $388,200
Chair Conlon called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
The Chair notified the Committee that Michael Flanagan had resigned from the Committee due to personal reasons. The Committee discussed the possibility of filling this vacancy.
The Committee received a copy of the final Report of the Community Preservation Act Study Committee dated November 27, 2006.
Public Safety Subcommittee Chair Steve Keel presented the Police, Fire, MEMA and Building Department FY 2008 budgets and questions raised by the Subcommittee on each. The Warrant Committee raised further suggestions and Chair Keel will present these questions to each department head.
The Committee reviewed and deferred for further review Reserve Fund Transfer requests to the FY 2007 Veterans General Expenses and Benefits budget.
On a motion made by Member Dee and seconded by Member Biagiotti, the minutes of December 20, 2006 were approved 9-0-2.
The General Government Subcommittee will meet on January 17, 2007 at 6:30 p.m.
The Cemetery Subcommittee will meet on January 17, 2007 at 6:45 p.m.
The C.H.P. Subcommittee will meet on January 22, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
The next meeting of the Warrant Committee will be on January 10, 2007.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
