WARRANT COMMITTEE MINUTES January 17, 2007
TWELFTH MEETING

Chair Conlon called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
A conference was held with Mark Williams, Director of MEMA and Captain of the Police Auxiliary, and John Fleming, Captain of the Fire Auxiliary and Paul Hopkins, a member of the Fire Auxiliary, who reviewed with the Committee the FY2008 MEMA budget request. The Committee thanked them for their continued service to the Town.
The Committee received copies of articles submitted on January 12, 2007 to the Board of Selectmen for inclusion in the 2007 Annual Town Meeting Warrant. These Articles were assigned to the following subcommittees: A, Schools; B, General Government; C, DPW; D, DPW; E, Boards and Commissions; F, Zoning, G, Zoning; H, Zoning; I., Zoning; J. Zoning; K, Capital/Employee Benefits; L, Capital/Employee Benefits; M. Capital/Employee Benefits; N. Capital/Employee Benefits; O, Capital/Employee Benefits and P. CHP.
Following discussion of the two vacancies on the Committee, Member Crichlow nominated Barbara Mason to fill a vacancy on the Warrant Committee through June 30, 2007. This nomination was seconded by Member Innes. The Committee voted 11-0-0 to elect Barbara Mason to the Warrant Committee. The Secretary will notify the Town Clerk of this selection.
On a motion made by Member Dee and seconded by Member McLaughlin, the Committee voted 11-0-0 to approve the minutes of January 10, 2007.
The Committee briefly discussed its schedule of meetings for the next few weeks and possible tours of Town buildings.
The Committee canceled the meeting scheduled for Monday, January 22.
RESERVE FUND $381,627.
The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
The next meeting of the Warrant Committee will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2007.
