FORTY-EIGHTH  MEETING           WARRANT COMMITTEE               MAY 9, 2006

The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in Milton High School prior to the beginning of the fifth evening of the 2006 Annual Town Meeting.

The Committee received information on the Nathaniel T.  Kidder Trust Fund from Town Meeting Member Diane DiTullio Agostino.

On a motion made by Member Dee and seconded by Member Crichlow, the minutes of May 1, 2006 were approved 8-0-1.

On a motion made by Member Walker and seconded by Member Gray, the minutes of May 8, 2006 were approved 8-0-0.

Member Paul Nolan recused himself from the meeting.  Following discussion, the Committee, on a motion made by Member Connors and seconded by Member Crichlow, voted 7-0-3 to approve a $27,104 Reserve Fund transfer to the Police Department FY 2006 General Expenses for payment of invoices for gasoline and printing and binding expenses.  Member Nolan  returned to the meeting.

The Committee received and reviewed a revised copy of Article 29, Stormwater Management, from the Chair of the Conservation Commission.   Chair Conlon advised the Committee that these revisions were made by Mr. Neal after consultation with the Selectmen and the Department of Public Works as a result of motions made by Town Meeting Members during the discussion of the article at the May 2, 2006 Town Meeting.

Town Meeting Member John A. Cronin briefly updated the Committee on Article 51.  


Member Gray discussed issues relating to the Nathaniel T. Kidder Trust Fund and questions raised at Town Meeting by Town Meeting Member Diane DiTullio Agostino.

The meeting recessed at 7:10 p.m. to allow the Warrant Committee to attend the fifth evening of the 2006 Annual Town Meeting.
