WARRANT COMMITTEE MINUTES
NINTH MEETING December 20, 2006

RESERVE FUND BALANCE: $388,200
Chair Conlon called the meeting to order at 7:30.
On a motion made by Member Dee and seconded by Member Keel, the minutes of December 6, 2006 were approved 7-0-4.
The Committee received the following 2008 budgets: Revised Veterans $21,652; Cemetery $641,023, Park $328,651. The Committee also received a memorandum from the Fire Chief notifying the Committee that he would not request a Reserve Fund Transfer for unexpected plumbing repairs; a request from the Board of Selectmen regarding the impact on the FY 2008 budget of a possible reduction of the trash sticker fee effective July 1, 2007; and a memorandum from the Personnel Board regarding its approval of a $3,000 annual stipend for the Cemetery Superintendent in lieu of a reclassification.
The Chair and the Secretary reviewed spreadsheets showing preliminary FY 2008 budget projections and discussed their recent meeting with the Town Accountant. The Committee also briefly discussed the possibility of the Town entering into a one year lease/purchase for a replacement for Engine 1.
The Public Safety and General Government Subcommittees will meet on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, in the Town Office Building.

The next meeting of the Warrant Committee will be on January 8, 2007.
