WARRANT COMMITTEE MINUTES

ELEVENTH MEETING                                                        January 24, 2005


PRESENT:        E. Innes, K. Conlon, W. Connors, B. Mason, E. Redo, L. Dee, C. Winston, J. Tarvin, N. Monroe, K. Hodlin, D. Biagiotti (7:40 p.m.), M. Ellis, T. Lowney (7:45 p.m.)

ABSENT: M. Kelly, R. Musto

RESERVE FUND BALANCE:                                   $358,134

The meeting minutes of the January 19, 2005 meeting were accepted 9-0-1 as written.


A Reserve Fund Transfer request from the Police (Leash Law) was deferred until the next meeting.

Committee member Eric Redo presented a summary of Employee Benefits budgets that included Contributory and Non-Contributory Retirement and Group Insurance.  (Committee member Mason abstained from discussion on these budgets)

Committee member Katie Conlon presented General Government subcommittee questions on budgets that included Central Business Office, Elections and Registration, Insurance General, Law, Information Technology, Town Reports, Selectmen, Board of Assessors, Town Clerk and Town Treasurer.  These questions will be forwarded to the Department Heads for their review.

Chair Innes reviewed the upcoming meeting scheduled and reminded committee members that the Special Town Meeting is Monday, February 7, at 7:30 p.m.  The Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. before Town Meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.

The next meeting of the Warrant Committee will be January 26, 2005.
