BOARD OF SELECTMEN’S MEETING THURSDAY, MAY 30, 2013

In attendance:  Denis F. Keohane, J. Thomas Hurley, Kathleen M. Conlon, Annemarie Fagan, Town Administrator and Paula Rizzi, Executive Secretary

1.      Chairman Keohane convened the meeting at 6:05 p.m. in the Cronin Conference Room of the Town Hall.

2.      The Board met with Chief Richard Wells who introduced the following nine applicants for five Patrolman positions in the Police Department:  Bryan J. Caccamo, Chad DePina,
Ryan P. O’Rourke, Clodomiro Bautista, Jr., John B. Larson, Brian Feely, Patrick Nee, Ricmyr Saint Cyr and James O. Kelly.

After the interviews, the Board agreed to review its notes and watch a tape of the interviews before deciding on its choice of candidates which will be voted at the June 6, 2013 meeting.

3.      J. Thomas Hurley moved, Kathleen M. Conlon seconded and the Board voted unanimously to defer discussion on a comment letter to the Mass Housing Finance Agency regarding the proposed Milton Mews project to June 6.

4.      Meredith Hall, representing the Historical Commission, addressed the Board about the Commission’s concerns regarding the proposed Milton Mews project.  Selectmen Conlon requested that the Board’s comment letter be forwarded to the Historical Commission, the Conservation Comment and the Planning Board for their information and as a means to solicit their comments.  Concerns/comments by these entities can be added as an attachment to the Selectmen's comment letter to the Mass Housing Finance Committee.

5.      J. Thomas Hurley moved, Kathleen M. Conlon seconded and the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 8:00 p.m.
