BOARD OF SELECTMEN’S MEETING, TUESDAY, MAY 7, 2013
In attendance: J. Thomas Hurley, Denis F. Keohane, Kathleen M. Conlon, Annemarie Fagan, Town Administrator and Paula Rizzi, Executive Secretary
1. Chairman Keohane convened the meeting at 6:10 p.m. in the Main Office Work Room of Milton High School.
2. J. Thomas Hurley moved, Denis F. Keohane seconded and the Board voted unanimously to approve and sign two contracts for the Deputy Police Chief, one contract for the period of April 1, 2013 through June 30, 2013 and one contract for the period of July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016.
3. The Board reviewed the warrant articles.
4. The Board met with DPW Director Joseph Lynch to review the tiered billing system for water usage for 88 Wharf Street and to review the regulations regarding the installation of water meters. Currently the regulations state that one building has one meter installed in spite of the number of units that building may house. Mr. Lynch will survey other communities regarding this regulation and update the Board in a timely manner.
5. The Board attended Town Meeting.
6. Town Meeting adjourned at 10:43 p.m.
