BOARD OF SELECTMEN’S MEETING, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2012

In attendance:  J. Thomas Hurley,  Denis F. Keohane, Robert C. Sweeney, Annemarie Fagan,  Interim Town Administrator and Paula Rizzi, Executive Secretary

  • Chairman Hurley convened the meeting at 6:38 p.m. in the John A. Cronin Conference Room of the Town Hall.
2.      The Board met with Building Commissioner Joseph Prondak and Planning Director William Clark to discuss the demolition of 131 Eliot Street.  After discussing the sequence of events leading up to this meeting, J. Thomas Hurley moved, Denis F. Keohane seconded and the Board voted unanimously to confirm the July 23, 2012 letter from Building Commissioner Joseph Prondak to Carrick Realty Trust in which Mr. Prondak indicated that the building at 131 Eliot Street is unsafe and dangerous and directed Carrick Realty Trust to remove the structure in its entirety or make it safe in accordance with the Massachusetts State Building Code, Eighth Edition, by 12:00 noon on the day following receipt of that notice.

3.      J. Thomas Hurley moved, Robert C. Sweeney seconded and the Board voted unanimously at 7:15 p.m. to adjourn.
