onsolidation of building maintenance, repair and capital planning support functions into a newly created Town Facilities Department.  Mr. Cichello went on to explain that the first step in the process toward this end is to submit an article for consideration by Town Meeting to accept the provisions of M.G.L. c. 71, §31M.  Once this is accepted, the School Committee must vote to permit the Town to manage school properties.
that authorize the Board of Library Trustees to expend money from established revolving accounts;  a citizens petition article proposing to amend Chapter 10 of the General Bylaws by inserting after Subsection III.K language that would allow development combining the existing institutional use and business use; an article that would ask Town Meeting to accept the provisions of M.G.L. c. 71, §37M as a first step in the consolidation of building maintenance and management functions.

            Further Voted:  that in connection with the marketing and sale of the Bonds, the preparation and distribution of a Notice of Sale and Preliminary Official Statement dated December 23, 2008 (the “Preliminary Official Statement”), and a final Official Statement dated January 6, 2009, each in such form as may be approved by the Town Treasurer, be and hereby are ratified, confirmed, approved and adopted.
