160; The Board met with the Trustees of the Library to discuss a recent vacancy on the Library Board that was created by the resignation of Robert Varnerin. The following trustees were present: Janet Evans, Hyacinth Crichlow, Brendan McLaughlin, Gene Boylan, Barbara Mason, Gregory Buchanan and Mary Regan. Four applicants were interviewed for the interim position and it was the recommendation of the Trustees to appoint Ingrid Shaffer based on her qualifications and by virtue of the fact that she received the most votes by a losing candidate in the last Town election.
