pt;color:#000000;">1. Marion V. McEttrick moved, John M. Shields seconded and the Board voted unanimously to approve the September 4, 2008 meeting minutes as amended and the September 9, 2008 meeting minutes as written.

Chief Larson and the Board reviewed the selection process for the hiring of a new fire chief which included information on a screening committee, candidates and a proposed time line. Mrs. McEttrick requested that the Board of Selectmen create a charge for the screening committee and revisit this issue again at its October 2 meeting.
