SELECTMEN’S MEETING, TUESDAY, MAY 3, 2005 6:00 p.m.
In attendance: Marion V. McEttrick, Charles J. McCarthy, James G. Mullen, Jr., David Colton, Town Administrator and Annemarie Fagan, Assistant Town Administrator
Charles J. McCarthy moved, James G. Mullen, Jr. seconded and the Board voted unanimously to approve and forward to the Warrant Committee a Reserve Fund Transfer Request in the amount of $15,000 to the Selectmen’s Salary and Wage line to cover the cost of the Town Administrator’s salary due to a personnel change.
The Board noted receipt of a letter sent to all citizens that attended the April 28, 2005 Board of Selectmen’s meeting regarding the proposed commercial development of the Public Works Yard.
The Town Administrator updated the Board on the NStar 345KV Transmission Project.
Charles J. McCarthy moved, James G. Mullen, Jr. seconded and the Board voted to meet jointly with the Warrant Committee and School Committee at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the progress made in seeking additional funding for the FY06 School Department budget.
Following this joint meeting the Board will attend Town Meeting.
