SELECTMEN’S MEETING             TUESDAY, MAY 27, 2003        5:00 P.M.

In attendance: James G. Mullen, Jr., Marion V. McEttrick, Charles J. McCarthy, David W. Owen, Town Administrator and Paula Rizzi, Secretary to the Board of Selectmen

The Board approved the meeting minutes of  May 6, 2003 as written and May 15, 2003 minutes as amended.

Marion V. McEttrick moved, Charles J. McCarthy seconded and the Board voted unanimously to approve and sign the June 19th Special Election Warrant.

Marion V. McEttrick moved, Charles J. McCarthy seconded and the Board voted unanimously to approve the request of the Tucker Elementary School PTO to hang a 3' x 10' banner at the intersection of Reedsdale Road and Randolph Avenue in conjunction with their annual fund raising event on June 7, 2003.

Marion V. McEttrick moved, Charles J. McCarthy seconded and the Board voted unanimously to approve the issuance of a one-day liquor license to Fontbonne Academy in conjunction with a fund raising event to be held in the Community Room at Fontbonne Academy, 303 Adams Street, on May 30, 2003 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Marion V. McEttrick moved, Charles J. McCarthy seconded and the Board voted unanimously to approve and sign a letter of appreciation to Robert Foster, 50 Shady Rest Road, Easton for his many contributions to the Milton community during his thirty-three year ownership of the Milton Shell Station.

Marion V. McEttrick moved, Charles J. McCarthy seconded and the Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 5:35 p.m.
