Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Cook at 9:30 a.m.

NEW BUSINESS:
Declaration of State of Emergency:
Joyce Mason opened discussion to declare a state of emergency for the town of Mashpee. This step is necessary to allow for possible federal/state damage/ storm expense reimbursements.
Motion made by Selectman Taylor to declare a state of emergency for the Town of Mashpee. Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson.
VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.

Discussion Regarding Early Release of Employees:
The Governor has recommended all vehicles off the road by early afternoon. Selectman Richardson stated that his main concern is the safety of our employees. Selectman Cook asked if the Police & Fire Chiefs agree to early release. Joyce Mason stated that the Chiefs agree. Also the School Department is closed today.
Motion made by Selectman Richardson for early release of all non-emergency personnel at 2:00 p.m. today. Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman.
VOTE: Motion passes – 4-1.
