Minutes of Meeting Held Tuesday, October 21, 2014

Committee Members Present: Jonathan Furbush, and Joseph Cummings.
Absent: Mary LeBlanc.
Also Present: Michael Mendoza – Building Commissioner
The meeting was called to order at 12-Noon.
5 North Street
Lane Bryant – signage approval
The Lane Bryant signage application was reviewed and briefly discussed.
Motion: Jonathan Furbush motioned Design Review approve the inside-lit, less than 10% signage proposed for Lane Bryant. Joseph Cummings seconded the motion; and it was unanimously passed by Design Review.
Discussion
The possibility of suggesting amending the signage By-Law so that perhaps it reads that signage allowance should be 10% per unit, rather than 10% of entire building was discussed. It was agreed that Mike Mendoza would discuss with Town Counsel.
Mike Mendoza advised he has updated the rules and procedures for Design Review. He said he is working with IT Department to place these documents on the website.
