BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES MEETING
TUESDAY, MARCH 13, 2012
MASHPEE LIBRARY CONFERENCE ROOM
Present: John Kowalski, Patricia Gamache, Sue McGarry, Carlo D’Este, Sandra Lahart, and David Burton.
Absent: Jane Dolan.
Also Present: Kathy Mahoney, Library Director
Jack Kowalski, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. and stated that the agenda for tonight’s meeting is brief to allow moving to executive session quickly to discuss staffing.
Approval of Minutes
Patricia Gamache motioned to approve the Regular Session and Executive Session minutes of February 7, 2012 as presented.
Motion was seconded by Sandra Lahart.
VOTE: Yes-5; 1 Abstain.
Roll Call Vote: John Kowalski, yes Patricia Gamache, yes
Carlo D’Este, yes Sandra Lahart, yes
Sue McGarry, yes David Burton, abstain.
Reports
Kathy Mahoney provided each Board member with a copy of her monthly report for February; a copy of which is attached to the printed set of these minutes.
Patricia Gamache and Kathy Mahoney will e-mail the Trustees feedback on the meeting of the Friends they attended today.
Next Meeting…5 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in the Library Conference Room.
Jack Kowalski asked for a motion to move to Executive Session to discuss staffing.
Motion: Carlo D’Este motioned to adjourn at 5:10 p.m. The Library Trustees will enter into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing staffing. The Trustees will not reconvene in Open Session.
Motion seconded by Sue McGarry.
VOTE: Yes-6. Motion passed unanimously.
