Peter Cohen, Chairman, called the meeting of the MCAT Board to order at 2:05 p.m.
Roll Call was taken.
Approval of Minutes
Lolita McCray motioned to accept the minutes of the meeting of April 10, 2012 as written; Andrew Eliason seconded the motion.
VOTE: ~Yes –3. Motion passed.

Andrew Eliason motioned to de-classify MCAT Executive Session minutes of March 15, 2011; Lolita McCray seconded the motion.

Budget Status Update
Andrew Eliason presented updated figures as of May 4, 2012, but did not have latest PEG figures since he has to check with Accounting regarding munis report questions.
Andrew commented that he would like to hear from somebody in the Town Administration prior to making monetary transfers because he can’t seem to justify money transferred against our approved expenditures.
Mashpee Community Television
Peter Cohen said he has heard nothing further—assumes it is status quo. MCAT members voiced concerns that there should be more communication. In addition, Lolita McCray said she believes that the Mashpee Community TV personnel—that is, whomever they may be in the future—should keep MCAT up-to-date with how they are progressing.
Broadcasting Issues
Andrew stated that watching the broadcast of last night’s Town Meeting it seemed the camera operator was poorly trained. Andrew said there seemed to be only one camera in use, but there is a switcher they have that is capable of handling multiple cameras. Also, the backdrop was green and silver with duct tape all over it—very tacky looking. Andrew will mention these concerns to Arthur Joia.

The next MCAT meeting is to be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2012, Town Hall Meeting Room 1.
