The Martha’s Vineyard Transit Authority Advisory Board met Friday, November 12, 2014 at 9:00 AM in the offices of the Transit Authority, 11 A Street, Edgartown. Present were Alice Butler (Oak Bluffs), June Manning (Aquinnah), Connie Teixeira (Tisbury), Lou Paciello(Edgartown) Angela Grant (VTA) and Lois Craine (VTA). Absent was Mary Beth Grady (Disabled Commuters’ Representative) Lenny Jason (Chilmark) arrived at . John Alley (West Tisbury) arrived at .
The meeting was called to order at 9:07AM.
Audit FY 14 Presentation-Bruce Norling (Auditor) via telephone
Ms. Grant and Ms. Craine left the room at 9:07AM and Bruce Norling presented the FY 14 Audit to the Board via telephone. Ms. Grant and Ms. Craine returned at 9:14AM.
Mr. Jason arrived at 9:28AM.

The Minutes of the Meeting of August 29 were tabled until the next meeting.
Rider Community Representative Board Member
Ridership update through October 2014
Ridership reports through October 2014, attachment A, were distributed and discussed. Ms. Grant pointed out that total ridership for was up 6.04% consistently. Ms. Manning suggested that additional up island service hours would add more riders especially on weekends.
VTA Personnel Policies-Create a Subcommittee
Ms. Grant advised the Board of the need to review the Current VTA Personnel Policies and asked if a Subcommittee could be formed.
