VTA Advisory Board

The Martha’s Vineyard Transit Authority Advisory Board met Friday, December 21, 2012 at 9:00 AM in the offices of the Transit Authority, 11 A Street, Edgartown. Present were Alice Butler (Oak Bluffs), Lenny Jason (Chilmark), June Manning (Aquinnah), John Alley (West Tisbury), Connie Teixeira (Tisbury), Angela Grant (VTA) and Lois Craine (VTA).
The meeting was called to order at 9:25AM.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ms. Manning moved to accept the Minutes of November 15 2012. Ms. Teixeira seconded. M/s/c.

Financial reports through November 2012
Financial reports through September 2012 were distributed. Ms. Grant noted increased revenues for the first three months of FY13 despite extra vehicles on routes 1 and 13.
Mr. Alley asked what changes need to be made to avoid four buses being at the West Tisbury Town Hall at once. Ms.Grant reported that an onsite meeting was held with four buses at the Selectmens’ request and it was agreed that with some posts removed, driver training and a planned camera to monitor the operation to be workable.
