Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on January 3, 2006 (Tuesday) in the Marlborough City Hall, 140 Main St.  3rd Floor, Memorial Hall, Marlborough, MA  at 7:00 P.M. on the petition of the below named person appealing the Building Inspector's decision in the application of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Marlborough, as follows:

The applicant(s) requests the Board to reverse the decision of the Building Inspector's denial of a building permit in a letter dated Oct. 19, 2005 and issue an order authorizing a building permit as requested in Mr. Mongeau's application.  Proposal to construct a new building of 4,800 sq. ft., 60 x 80 x 16, structural steel, for the purpose of an auto body service shop.

The property is located in Zoning District Commercial Automotive, being Map 82, Parcel 140 of the Zoning Assessor's Maps.  Also known as 221 Maple St.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on March 7, 2006 (Tuesday) in the Marlborough City Hall, 140 Main St.  3rd Floor, Memorial Hall, Marlborough, MA  at 7:15 P.M. on the petition of the below named person seeking variances in the application of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Marlborough, as follows:

Eugene Mongeau, represented by Catherine J. Savoie - Posternak Blankstein & Lund LLP

The applicant proposes to construct a new steel building of 4,800 sq. ft.  60x80x16 for the purpose of an auto body service shop.  The following are the variances requested:
·       To reduce the required frontage on Parcel 140 from 50' to 0' (Chapter 200-40(F)(1)
·       To allow access to Parcel 140 over a right-of-way 20' in width (Chapter 200-49(D)(4)
·       To waive the minimum street frontage planting area from 10' depth to 0' (Chapter 200-47(E)(1)(a)
·       To reduce the minimum 5' side yard planting area from 5' to 0' (Chapter 220-47-(F)(2)
·       To reduce the minimum 50' centerline separation between two minor driveways from 50' to 2' (Chapter 200-49(D)(1)
·       To eliminate the required granite curbing at the street right-of-way of  Parcel 138A (Chapter 200-49(D)(5)

        The parcel in question is located in Zoning District Commercial Automotive (CA), being Map 82   Parcel 140 of the Zoning Assessor's Maps.   Also known as 221 Maple St.
