Site visit at the Ray and Tina Clark property

Project: build a barn at 226 Pinnacle Road.
The board met at the property of Ray and Tina Clark at 4:00 pm for a site visit. Ray and Tina explained where the proposed barn would be located on the west side of the right of way beyond the end of the town road. A garage that had been located at approximately the same location had been removed sometime prior to 2002. Ray pointed out the evidence of wet soils on the property. Ray also showed the Board the property on the east side of the right of way and the town road to allow the Board to evaluate the potential for any locations for the barn other than in agricultural soils. The Board compared what was seen at the site with the Town map of the Agricultural Soils and Steep Slopes Conservation Districts.
Jim Poage moved that the hearing be continued to the next regular meeting of the ZBA at 7:30pm. George Hartmann seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
