The site visit was a public hearing continued from October 21, convened at 9:00 am, 10/23/04, at the building site. The applicants identified and described specific topographic features of the upper portions of the drive, house, and the proposed location of he carriage house. They noted property boundaries and briefly described the ambiguities regarding differences between the property boundary (with Lot 4) and the location of the bounds of the conservation easement. ZBA members noted that with minor dimensional changes, the location of the carriage house might be relocated outside the property setback, but that the lack of definitive property and easement boundary definitions complicated the decision process. Board members also noted that criteria for a variance were significantly more restrictive
than those for a Special Exception.
There were no material discussions, motions or votes.
The site visit was concluded at 9:45 am.
