Site Visit, Case 04-071, Map 406 Lot 22.2
The site visit was a continued public hearing from the previous evening, convened at 8:00 am, 9/22/04, at the building site. The applicants identified and described specific topographic features of the upper portions of the drive, house, barn, conservation easement and property boundaries. Ray noted specific difficulties in siting the buildings related and to the limited area excepted from the conservation easement. He stated that the more detailed topographic representations provided by Lawrence and the interpretations by Jim Kennedy re: steep slopes were used to identify the final building locations. Based on these data, his opinion was that the present site for the house was outside the steep slopes conservation district.
The Board made visual observations regarding the topography, building locations, and possibilities for alternate building locations. There were no material discussions, motions or votes.
The site visit was concluded at 8:50 am.
