Board of Selectmen
Minutes for November 9, 2007

1.      The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen continued at 9:00 AM on Friday November 8 in the town offices.  The following attended the entire meeting: Charles Ragan, Simon Carr and Dick Jones.  
2.      Planning and Zoning Issues:
a.      A building permit was issued to Roberta Pike for the Lyme Pinnacle Snowmobile Club.
b.      A building permit for Ray Clark’s shop on Pinnacle Road was approved in accordance with Dick’s email to Ray and subject to receipt of the soil scientist’s letter confirming the site has no agricultural soils.
3.      At 9:15 AM Dick moved and Charles seconded a motion to go into non-public session under the authority of RSA 91-A:3 II(d) – “Consideration of the acquisition, sale or lease of real or personal property which, if discussed in public, would likely benefit a party or parties whose interests are adverse to those of the general community”.  The motion carried by unanimous roll-call vote.  Simon Carr, Dick Jones and Charles Ragan attended the non-public session. No decisions were taken.  During the non-public session Dick moved and Charles seconded that the minutes of the non-public session be sealed, which was carried by unanimous roll-call vote.  The Board returned to public session at 9:25 AM.
4.      There was a discussion on some of the changes to the proposed wages spreadsheet.
5.      The Selectboard meeting adjourned at 9:35 AM.
