TOWN OF LYME
BOARD of SELECTMEN
Minutes
November 22, 2006
Present:  Judy Brotman, Richard Jones, Carole Bont, Pauline Field.

The regularly scheduled Board of Selectmen’s meeting opened at 8:00 am at the Fire Station.

1.      The Board approved the minutes of November 15, 2006 as amended.
2.      The Board approved the septage agreement with the Town of Hanover.
3.      The Board reviewed the request to relocated Elizabeth Sloan’s tombstone from the Gilbert Cemetery to the Academy Building museum.  The Board approved the request subject to concurrence of the Upper Valley Land Trust.
4.      The Board reviewed the Police Policy on citizen complaints.  The Board requested an addition to the policy before approving the final draft, but in general accepted the policy proposal.
5.      The Board voted, signed and forwarded the USDA county conservation committee representative.
6.      The Board unanimously voted by roll call vote to go into Non-Public Session under RSA 91-A:3 II (c) for discussion of matters which, if made public, could affect the reputation of an individual.
7.      The Board returned to public session having declined to take action on the Request for Hardship Tax Abatement.  More information is required before a decision can be made.
8.      The Board voted to go into Non-Public Session under RSA 91-A:3 II (d) to a real estate purchase.
9.      The Board returned to Public Session having voted to make an offer on a parcel of land.
10.     The Board continued the ongoing Budget Discussions.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 am.
