BOARD OF SELECTMEN
Minutes
November 23, 2005
Present: Pete Bleyler, Dick Jones, Judy Brotman, Chief Pauline Field, Carole Bont, Vickie Davis, Bob Houser.
The meeting opened at 8:02 am by Chairman Pete Bleyler.
1. The Selectmen met with Bob House regarding his request to replace a gate that has fallen into disrepair across Alden Lane. The new gate will have a gate over the road, as well as an approximately 5 ft. wide pedestrian opening at the side of the road. The Selectmen approved his request.
2. The Selectmen approved the minutes of November 16th as amended.
3. The Selectmen appointed Vachon, Clukay & Co. for the year-end audit.
4. Vickie Davis met with the Selectmen to review her department’s revised budget. The Selectmen appreciate her attentiveness to the budget.
5. Vickie also request the Selectmen meet with the employees concerning the proposed (and voted) new medical plan. The Selectmen will set up a meeting with all the employees for 8:00 am next Wednesday morning to hear comments and concerns of the employees.
6. The Selectmen approved a revised memo to the employees concerning the new medical plan.
7. The Selectmen approved the manifest.
8. The Selectmen continued discussion on the budget.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 am.
