Minutes 15 December 2003
The Lyme Board of Selectmen convened a Board meeting at 9:34 AM. Allan Newton, Dick Jones, and Pete Bleyler attended the entire meeting.
The minutes of 10 December 2003 were approved as submitted.
The charge for the Energy committee was approved.
4) Dick moved and Pete seconded a motion to carry over from 2003 to 2004 the
following budget items:
· $5,400 for assessing software for the revaluation of property;
· $15,500 for replacing the fire station roof and roof insulation; and
· $19,100 for the Public Works Facility Capital Reserve Fund.
The motion carried unanimously.
5) As a result of last week's Budget Committee meeting, the Board reviewed again the proposed wage rates and total personnel costs for town employees, with particular emphasis on Highway Department personnel. The Board took into account Fred Stearns' memo to the Budget committee, and reviewed statistical wage data from the BLS, NHMA, and neighboring towns. As a result of this review, the Board made no changes in the recommendations previously developed and submitted to the Budget Committee.
6) The Board moved the Wednesday, January 7, 2004 regular meeting to Monday, January 5, 2004, at 9:00 AM.
7) The meeting adjourned at 10:33 AM.
