Minutes 2 July 2003
1. The Lyme Board of Selectmen convened its regular meeting at 9:00 AM. Allan Newton and Dick Jones attended the entire meeting.
2. The minutes of 25 June were approved subject to changing the date of the approved minutes in paragraph 6 from 11 to 18 June.
3. The use of building permits for identifying properties requiring assessing updates was discussed. The assessor’s needs are not being met by the current requirements of the Zoning Ordinance. Building permits are not required for replacements in kind which may affect the condition and depreciation codes used by the assessor. No resolution of how to meet the assessor’s needs was identified.
4. Dick moved and Allan seconded a motion to require the Fire Chief to relocate the trailer acquired from surplus property to Town property and so to inform the KB Surplus Distribution Section in Concord on or before 4 July. The motion carried unanimously.
5. The meeting adjourned at 9:30 AM.
