Town of Lyme
Board of Selectmen
Minutes of Public Hearing and Site Visits 18 June 2003

At 9:04 AM the Lyme Board of Selectmen convened a public hearing on the three applications received for "discretionary preservation easements for preserving historic agricultural structures."  The following attended the entire hearing: Pete Bleyler, Dick Jones, Allan Newton, Carole Bont (Administrative Assistant), Marcia Armstrong, and Greg Bogdanich.

Marcia Armstrong, applicant, was given an opportunity to address three structures and answer questions from the public.  The structures include the Lyme Creamery, and two others on Rt. 10 near the intersection with Pinnacle Road.

Following the hearing, the public was invited to join the Board on its site visits to the three structures.  Marcia Armstrong accompanied the Board.  At each site, photographs were taken and the Board inspected the structures and evaluated their scenic value, condition, and state of restoration.

At 10:02 AM, the Board returned to the Town Offices to continue its regular meeting..
