LYME RECREATION MINUTES
Present: Cathy Cramer, Kathleen Henriques, Richard Jones, Kerry Beck
· November and January minutes were approved unanimously
· Recreation report was submitted; spring sport sign ups have concluded
· Rock Climbing has two signed up; The Wall is willing to accommodate this number and the parents have been asked to carpool
· Town recreational baseball has 19 signed up
· Little League baseball has 15 signed up; two teams
· Lacrosse 25
· Play Soccer will again run its camp this summer
· Upper Valley Adult Lacrosse League has inquired about using Lyme Post Pond field this summer; normally they play in Norwich but that field will be under repair this summer; Discussion took place regarding concerns of field conditions and fact that this group is not town/commission based which raises liability issues; motion made and passed to not allow group to play Lacrosse on Post Pond field
· Richard reviewed web page and also confirmed current commission members and years of term
· Pond Program and Chase Beach summer 2005 planning has begun
· Next meeting April 25 7:00pm
