NEW TOWN OFFICES COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES
December 23, 2008


Members Present:  Don Metz, Frank Bowles, Jay Smith, Michael Woodard, Simon Carr, Judy Brotman.  

The meeting was officially opened at 8:00 am by Co-Chair Frank Bowles.

  • The minutes of December 9, 2008 were approved as corrected.
Don Metz reported on the building progress:
  • The concrete is poured, including the vault ceiling;
  • Most partitions are framed;
  • The wiring will begin soon.
  • The Committee reviewed Sheet E-1, the electrical schematic:
  • Pull lines will be installed in conduit
  • One conduit will serve both telephone and computer needs;
  • The generator will be installed with a two-switch master switch to run both the municipal building and the house.
  • Conduit will be run to the house and the parking area.
  • Lyndonville Office Supply will be asked to attend the next meeting, scheduled for 1/13/09.
  • Mike Woodard moved to go into non-public session.  Frank Bowles seconded the motion.  By unanimous roll call vote, the committee moved to non-public session The Committee went into non-public session at 8:45 am, under RSA 91-A:3, II(c) to discuss the private donations fund.
The Committee returned to public session.
The meeting adjourned at 9 am.

NON-PUBLIC SESSION MEETING MINUTES
December 23, 2008


Members Present:  Don Metz, Frank Bowles, Jay Smith, Michael Woodard, Simon Carr, Judy Brotman.  

  • The Committee went into non-public session at 8:45 am  under RSA 91-A:3, II(c) to discuss the private donations fund.
Don announced that donations are still coming in.  
  • Don said that Don Dwight has requested the Committee provide an “update-of-the-project” letter that he can send out to donors.
Frank and Don will work on a draft letter, and circulate it to committee members before forwarding it to Don Dwight for his distribution.
The Committee returned to public session at 8:55 am.
