NEW TOWN OFFICES COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES
December 9, 2008
Members Present: Don Metz, Frank Bowles, Jay Smith, Judy Brotman.
The meeting was officially opened at 8:00 am by Co-Chair Frank Bowles.
- The minutes of November 18, 2008 were approved.
Good progress is being made on the construction – we appear to be on schedule.
Donations are being tracked, and the outlook for receipts is very good. Presently there are very few pledges that are in arrears.
Fundraising for the cupola is being directed by Anne Baird.
Frank is still working on the “electrics” for the building. The Committee feels that when all aspects are considered, the use of the “T-8” lights is the best choice for this project.
Don is working on outside lighting fixtures.
The meeting adjourned at 8:25 am.
The Committee members stopped by the site to view the on-going construction.
