NEW TOWN OFFICES COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES
November 18, 2008
Members Present: Don Metz, Jay Smith, Simon Carr, Mike Woodard, Frank Bowles
The meeting was officially opened at 8:05 am by Co-Chair Don Metz.~~
- The minutes of November 11, 2008 were approved.
- Estes and Gallup should have a flow chart for us by next week.
- Don discussed noted that $95,000.00 in donations of the $208,000.00 pledged has been received. Some donations are not scheduled to come in until after January 1, 2009.
- Don showed the committee the drawings for the revised intersection of High Street and Route 10. Drawings will be sent to Bob Eaton at NH Highway Department.
- Discussed an e-mail received from Chief Field regarding the Police space in the New Town Office. She asked about the possibility of adding space by moving/deleting two areas on the Town Office side. One wall cannot be moved as the pipes for the radiant heat are already in place in that wall. The other space which was scheduled to be a break room already has plumbing/drain pipes coming up through the floor and will be used as a small kitchen area for coffee/refreshments for the conference/meeting room. As these are all sub-floor pipes it is not possible to change them now.
- Meeting recessed at 8:35 to go to the building site.
- Toured the building site and the old Recreate building.
- The meeting adjourned at 9:05 am.
