Minutes of Meeting – May 9, 2016; meeting called to order at 10:00am. Present: Ed Lane; Ken Fowler; Dave Roche. Absent: Channing Gibson; Warren Archey.
The Board discussed the details of the proposed lease agreement and solar power purchase agreement with Lenox Willow Creek Solar, LLC (Ameresco). The Board was joined in the discussion by the Town Manager, Special Counsel Jeff Grandchamp and consultant Beth Greenblatt via phone. Ms. Greenblatt discussed the economics of the project (left the meeting at 10:22 am). Attorney Grandchamp and the TM discussed the capping and access requirements. EL wanted the change in access to Post Farm to be clarified during permitting, and expressed disappointment that access had not been discussed with the Commission earlier.
MOTION by KF, seconded by DR to approve the lease agreement and the solar power purchase agreement between the Town and Lenox Willow Creek Solar, LLC, a subsidiary of Ameresco. 3/0 vote.
