Minutes of Meeting – June 24, 2009; meeting called to order at 7:00 pm.
Present: L Messana; KR Flynn; RN Sandlin; D Trancynger. Absent: J McNinch entered meeting at 7:20 pm.
MOTION by KRF, seconded by DT to accept the Minutes and Executive Minutes of June 10 as presented. 4/0 vote.
Members of the Laurel Lake Association introduced themselves to the Board, and gave a brief overview of their efforts to date. They were not present to ask the Board for anything, merely to make them aware of their group. LM suggested that they come back to update the Board in the fall.
MOTION by RNS, seconded by KRF to grant a one-day A/A license to Eastover Resort for 6/28 from 4:30-11:30pm at the mansion. 5/0 vote. MOTION by RNS, seconded by JM to grant a one-day A/A license to Eastover Resort for 7/18 from 6pm-1am at Tally Ho. 5/0 vote.
It was agreed that the Board would send a letter to any liquor license holder that if, after notification, they fail to obtain their required certificate of inspection within a two-week period, their license will be revoked. More research is needed to determine how to get establishments that don’t hold a liquor license to become compliant.
Kim Graham and Laura Reber appeared before the Board to give them an update on operations at the Community Center. They went through the various activities held for both the youth and elderly. They felt that the two groups are melding very well together.

The Board discussed the newly approved FY10 state budget, and what it means to the Town as far as revenue options go. The Town will be receiving approximately $100,000 less in revenue. We need to look at increasing the local meals tax by ith the City of Pittsfield.
