Minutes of Meeting – October 24, 2007; meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m.
Present: RN Sandlin; L Messana; RT Akroyd; S Pavlosky; JH Pumphrey.
MOTION by RTA, seconded by JHP to accept the Minutes of October 10 as presented. 5/0 vote.
MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to grant a one-day A/A license to Eastover Resort for Friday, 11/23 from 5pm-midnight at the mansion. 5/0 vote.
MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to grant an amusement device for a pool table to Flavours, LLC located at 130 Pittsfield Road. 4/0 vote with RNS abstaining.
RNS announced that Wharton “Ben” Barker has resigned from the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority and asked anyone interested in serving to submit a letter to the Selectmen’s Office. MED to send letter of thanks to Mr. Barker.
MOTION by JHP, seconded by SP to appoint James Harwood to the Historic District Commission to fill the “architect” slot. 5/0 vote.
MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to appoint Daniel Piretti as a full-time FF/EMT/Custodian for the Town of Lenox . 5/0 vote.
Old/New Business: Next BOS meeting will be November 7, then December 5, followed by December 19. SP asked if a ceremony could be planned for Liston Park before the weather becomes too cold.
