Minutes of Meeting – November 7, 2007; meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m.

MOTION by RTA, seconded by SP to accept the Minutes of October 24 as presented. 5/0 vote.
MOTION by JHP, seconded by LM to approve the following craft fairs in Lilac Park: Church on the Hill, July 26-27, Lenox Youth Basketball, August 9-10 with movies on the 8th and 9th and Lenox Children’s Center, August 30-31. 5/0 vote.
MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to grant permission to Phil Rennie to sell Christmas trees at 969 East Street, 11/24-12/24 from 9am-9pm and to Donald Rawson to sell Christmas trees at 120 Housatonic Street, 12/1-12/25 from 9am-5pm. 5/0 vote.
MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to grant a one-day A/A license to Eastover Resort for Saturday, 12/1 from 5pm-1am at Tally Ho. 5/0 vote. MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to grant a one-day A/A license to Eastover Resort for Friday, 12/7 from 5pm-1am at Tally Ho. 5/0 vote. MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to grant a one-day A/A license to Eastover Resort for Saturday, 12/8 from 5pm-1am at the Heritage Room. 5/0 vote. MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to grant a one-day A/A license to Eastover Resort for Friday, 12/14 from 5pm-1am at Tally Ho. 5/0 vote. MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to grant a one-day A/A license to Eastover Resort for Saturday, 12/15 from 5pm-1am at the mansion. 5/0 vote. MOTION by JHP, seconded by RTA to grant a one-day W&M license to Sean Ward/Veterans’ Agent
for Sunday, 11/11 from 5pm-9am in the Community Center ballroom. 5/0 vote.
The Board listened to a presentation by Ann Jon from SculptureNow. The group seeks permission to place outdoor displays of sculpture throughout the village. In general, the Board was in favor of the idea, and suggested that those involved with this project continue to finalize locations and the sculptures to be displayed and to come back to the Board for final approval.
Kim Graham and Laura Reber updated the board on current activities at the Community Center.
Old/New Business: SP stated that Stan Duprey has resigned from the FinCom; MOTION by SP, seconded by JHP to accept the resignation and send a thank you letter for his years of service. 5/0 vote.
