The Special Meeting of the Lenox Housing Authority was held Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 at 4:30 PM at the Curtis, 6 Main St.
- The meeting was called to order by Chairman C. May at 4:38 PM.
- 2 Roll Call: Present – C. May, Chairman/State Appointee
M. Pero, Vice Chairman D. Kirby, Treasurer
Jan Ward, T. Sorrentino/Members
M. Joyner, B. Heaphy
Absent - None, Others – Tenants
- Lenox/Gt. Barrington Housing Authority Temporary Management Agreement
B. Heaphy had a copy of the proposed agreement. She briefly went over it and said she had done the same with the Gt. Barrington board. Each board member spoke in opposition of it especially since the Executive Director’s contract hadn’t been approved yet by DHCD. B. Heaphy was hired for 32 hours a week and it would not be in LHA’s best interest to take hours away from this Authority. It would be logistically impossible to cover LHA and three other properties.
M. Pero made a motion to not accept the Temporary Management Agreement as presented. J. Ward seconded. All in attendance voted in favor.
C. May adjourned the meeting at 5:32 P.M.
