Commissioners present: James Jurney, Olga Weiss, Suzanne Pelton, George Jordan  
Commissioners absent without notification: Sharon Hughes

Visitors: Jim Biancola, Ellie Geller

Meeting was called to order at 4:20 p.m.  Minutes of the April 7 meeting were approved.
James Jurney was elected Chair by unanimous vote.
Jim Biancolo will continue to do his Jim Watch and work on new map of Historic District. He gave some dates/meetings that may be of interest re Historic Preservation and then left.

OLD BUSINESS

Westinghouse Street Lamps Wrap-up– Funds were allocated by majority vote at Town Meeting, May 1, to fund the street lamps as part of a makeover of the Historic District, which will include new sidewalks, pathways with ambient lighting and landscaping. James will talk to Jeff Vincent about going forward with engineering study with funds raised by HC and received to date.

Cemetery Restoration Application for MHC funding– Olga will meet Mary Albertson, the Town Planner, on 5/15, and later with Suzanne for addition information needed to complete the application for MHC funding to restore this important historic asset.

Intern Available for Lenox Surveys  - Cheryl Harned will be taking pictures of historic properties in Lenox over the next week or two.


NEW BUSINESS

Lenox Map and Walking Tour for Tourists  -  Ellie is working with Historical Society on this.

Zoning Bylaws  -  There will be joint meetings this summer with Planning and Zoning for Public input re the proposed Zoning Bylaw changes.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:20.
