The meeting was called to order at 5:59 PM.
Betsy Workman, 65 Church Street, Map 43, Parcel 179, Certificate of Appropriateness-new sign. Presenting the application was Ms. Workman. Her request is for three signs, one of which is a “community” sign and the other two will be attached to the building. These locations are the exact ones where the previous shop-owner had signs for the business known as Weaver’s Fancy. The Commissioners agreed that due to the fact that the building is clearly visible from the Village Center parking lot, a sign on that side of the building is warranted. Permission had been granted to the previous owner for that additional signage.
PJ made a motion to approve the request as presented. MS seconded the motion and the Commission voted to approve 3-0.
Minutes:
March 2, 2016-(Originally this meeting was scheduled for March 1, 2016 not realizing that it was an election day. Public meetings can’t be held on election days.) MS made a motion to approve as presented. PJ seconded the motion and the Commission voted to approve 3-0.
March 15, 2016- PJ made a motion to approve as presented. MS seconded the motion and the Commission voted to approve 3-0.
