Members present: Acting Chair Ken Fowler, KF; Elaine Steinert, ES; Lucy Kennedy, LK
Absent with notification: Linda Messana, LM
Jim Lucie, AKA Café Lucia, Certificate of Appropriateness, 80 Church St., Map 43 Parcel 114, construct an outdoor bar.
Presenting the application were Jim and Nadine Lucie. Their proposal is to add to the existing roof to cover an outdoor portable bar. The location will be where there had been a garden and hedge.
LK said that the building was a historic structure and is in a historic neighborhood and has been altered in such a way that it is not particularly historic in appearance; therefore she has no issue with the appearance.
LK made a motion to approve and ES seconded the motion. The Commission voted to agree 3-0.

Proposed Bylaw Amendment
The HDC shall consist of five members and two alternates appointed by the Board of Selectmen. Where possible, the HDC shall include one resident of or property owner in the district, one member of the Lenox Planning Board, one member from two nominees submitted by the Berkshire County Historical Society, one member from two nominees submitted by the chapter of American Institute of Architects covering the area and one member from two nominees submitted by the Board of Realtors covering the area.
There were no members of the public present; therefore at 5:50 PM LK made a motion to close the public hearing. ES seconded the motion and the Commission voted to agree 3-0.
Approve Minutes:
February 17, 2015-Tabled again as there was not a quorum. LM, LK, KF were the members who sat for that meeting.
March 17, 2015-Tabled as there was not a quorum. LM, ES, KF were the members who sat for that meeting.
