Scott Shortt/The Frederick formerly known as the Kemble Inn, 2 Kemble Street, Map 7 Parcel 22-3, remodeling by installing replacement windows with matching mullion patterns. Additionally he is proposing an exhaust on the roof at property. Note: The HDC approved the window replacements at their March 1, 2011 meeting. The portion of the application for the exhaust proposed for the roof was continued to March 15, 2011 at 5:30 pm. Additional note: At the March 15, 2011 meeting a hand delivered letter was received from Jim Harwood, the architect who is representing Mr. Shortt. The letter stated that there is a more suitable location for the exhaust on the rear wall and not visible from the street therefore the applicant was withdrawing his request.
5:30 pm Jean Ives Bougouin/Patisserie, 30A Church St., Map 43 Parcel 160, sign.
Presenting the application were Mr. Bougouin and Ms. Bougouin. He said that his business is a retail French pastry shop that will serve teas and coffee in addition to the pastry. The placement of the sign would be on the north side of the yard.
KF made a motion to approve the sign as presented with the specific location to be determined by the Building Inspector. ES seconded the motion and the Commission voted to approve 3-0.
