5:30 p.m. Lenox National Bank, 7 Main St., Map 43 Parcel 17, new sign.
Pam Mackie and Joseph Leskovitz were present. Elaine made a motion to approve the sign with conditions and Jason seconded the motion. The conditions are that the applicant must receive final approval from the building inspector of Lenox. The Commission approved 3-0.
Other business: The board discussed the responsibility of the HDC with regard to applications with potential zoning violations, as the HDC is responsible for the appropriateness and not the zoning. It was pointed out that the HDC Bylaw requires all applications to get the building inspector’s approval with regard to zoning before coming to the HDC. The board would like to discuss this at a later meeting.
