Staff present: Gwen Miller, Land Use Director/Town Planner, (GM); Peggy Ammendola, (PA)

Ethan Berg, 107 Yokun Avenue, Map 12 Parcel 2-1, review solutions to detention basin failure. Continued from November 6 and December 4, 2014.

Present were Mike Kulig, Berkshire Engineering; and Mike Mugridge.

Mr. Kulig presented four drawings which included a general layout of the proposed drainage ditch remediation and individual cross sections of specific locations of the proposed swale renovation which depicted the contours of the proposed swale.   Also shown on the plans were proposed plantings once the work is done.   Mr. Kulig is designing the project to manage the water generated by a 100 year storm.  He plans to finalize the plans and expects to file a Notice of Intent in time for the March 19th meeting.  Mr. Mugridge discussed his plan for plantings.

TF said that hydrology is important to include even though they aren’t doing stormwater per se.  

Approve Minutes: December 4, 2014-TF made a motion to approve the minutes as written.  DF seconded the motion and the Commission voted to approve 7-0.

Other business:
        Site visit will be conducted on January 21st at 3:00 PM regarding a Request for Determination of Applicability filed by G & L Realty, LLC, aka Haddad, for property located at 526 Pittsfield Rd., Map 33 Parcel 7.
        Laurel Lake Drawdown 2014-The report was received via email by the Land Use Department on January 5th and forwarded to the Commissioners on January 6th.  All confirmed that they have received.  

RFC made a motion to adjourn and DL seconded the motion.  The Commission voted to agree 7-0 and the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 PM.
